As a certified functional manual therapist (CFMT), I look at how the body works as a system. For some patients, the cause of the problem might not be where the patient is experiencing pain. I take the time to actively listen to my patients, so I can gain a sense of who they are as an individual and understand the root cause of their symptoms. I put the needs of each patient first and strive to empower them through education about their condition. Working together, we identify a customized plan so we can treat or manage the disease in a way that works best for their individual lifestyle.
I graduated from the Mayo Clinic in 2009 with my doctorate in physical therapy. In 2020 I sat for testing to be a certified functional manual therapist and I passed with honors. Also in 2020 I was awarded PT of the Year from the Wisconsin Chapter of the APTA (American physical therapy association)
